The Colorado Experiment

Arthur Jones did a test called the Colorado Experiment to see if High Intensity Training works for building muscles.

Casey Viator, the first guy in the test, gained 63 pounds of muscle in just 28 days. Jones, who also joined the test, gained 15 pounds in 22 days.

Viator, who used to be Mr. America, hadn't exercised for two years before the test. This was a challenge to the usual way of doing lots of exercise.

The results showed that in only 28 days, with just 12 short, intense workouts (each under 30 minutes), people gained more than 60 pounds of muscle.
